I think I go the opposite... something like 120dB ??? a very soft and soothing 120dB... at least thats what I think.....my wife on the other hand would have a different opinion.

... did you mean Hz? 120db i pretty loud, so I'd understand your wife's disagreement if this is the case!

... 120Hz on the other hand is definitely in the bass region... if it's the worst scenario possible (120db at 120hz) I'd seriously tighten your beds screws once in a while, or they might loosen (and yes! i'm refering to the snorring here! mind you!)

120db are short of a starting jet fighter as long as I am correct there (150db).
At 120Hz this would make a bed pretty useless... eh... uhm...
