Got a New JOB!!!
I just accepted a FULL Time position as an ABB Robotics Specialist at a company called Martinrea, and I start January 2nd, 2008
I hope this is a sign that 2008 will be a good year.

I might be able to make something like that in a 3D package
But those kinds of Robots are still far in the future.
This is more like it. This particular Robot has a Spot welder attached to the end. Most Common
applications are Spot Welding, Material Handling (which would be grabbing parts), and Mig Welding.
There is also Automotive Painting etc.
Also in this photo the Robot positioned in this position is about 7-8 Feet tall could be taller
if its programmed differently.

No, he's working from the remains of Megatron - it didn't quite make it to the ocean floor...Kenz wrote:Does that mean you will be making these:Analog-X64 wrote:I just accepted a FULL Time position as an ABB Robotics Specialist at a company called Martinrea, and I start January 2nd, 2008

Congrats, mate. Best of luck in your new job, and wish me luck in finding one. I'm waiting to hear back from several interviews.
