As some of you may know, my technical 'skills' are legendary, and my little lad wants some more stuff to bang on his PSP Slim that he got for Xmas. Now, I've managed to get some Mp3 and convert a few of his DVDs but I cannot fathom out how to use the homebrew stuff - or indeed whether I can or not.
His PSP Slim is brand new and is system software version 3.71. and in the game section it says PSP update ver 2.60
I downloaded eloader for 3.71 which is supposed to allow use of homebrew game/utilities and put it in it's correct directory. When run it play a sound restarts and responds "THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED 80020148). Bugger.
I've installed PSPVICE (again the 3.71 version) and tried to run that too with the message "This game cannot be started. The data is corrupted". I have deleted and re-installed several different versions to see if that fixes any possible corruption. I have also followed step by steps on other sites but I know some people on here have got it working on their PSP - so if anyone can help, we would very much appreciate it.
I never thought it would come to the day when my kids knew more than me - it's a hard time of life!!
