Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Eh. What happened to all my posts in this thread? I think three or four from yesterday are missing.
Update: Okay, now I _know_ there is something weird going on, because my surf-log from yesterday shows me posting and editing on "Page 3" in this thread, which apparently I just created with this post. That, of course, is impossible, so where did my posts go?

Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
See the "fatal server crash" thread... everything before 1st September has gone.
You did notice that my posts had gone as well, didn't you?

Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Old server is dead.... this one is a completely new server... but it seems to be feeling OK. It really put a hit on C64Audio.com though. It's the little things you miss...

Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Whatever the hell happened, I suggest that Janne and Glenn call each other to discuss one on one. They should both agree that they are BOTH the damaged parties and should act like it in court.
Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
I think their individual lawyers are the right people to decide how to proceed.
Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
It appears that Nelly Furtado has released Do It as a single. I saw the film clip on MTV Adria. Plus, the on the MTV so called music awards Nelly did a medley of her songs and it started off with Do It.
Edit: Sorry this has nothing to do with the court case or any legal proceedings but I find it really arrogant that Nelly's management and Timba are promoting a song that is currently the centre of legal action. I see at as message from Timba that he really is or feels untouchable.

Thunderer: Maybe they decided, that they wanted to earn some extra cash to pay for the case when they loose it, and pay the fines?
Worst thing is, that this case probably just ends with a "mosquito sting"... that's probably al it'll feel like for Timba & Co.

In Norway Do It has been spinning on the radios for weeks now. I don't think Timbaland nor Nelly cares at all.

So... than it is just making it down to over seas??k_rostoen wrote:In Norway Do It has been spinning on the radios for weeks now. I don't think Timbaland nor Nelly cares at all.
"Do It" was in rotation here in North America about 5-6 Months ago.
Well it works the other way around too, many songs that were released in the U.K. take 5-6 Months to get play over here.
Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Yeah... and I bet that this 5-6 months "latency" is another reason for MP3 piracy... I mean, who wants to wait 5-6 months to hear their idol, if they can get it on the net... Sometimes record bussiness should prepare a bit better, and release all over at the same time. same goes with films etc.

Yup!! and speaking of downloading... its how I've been introduced to new artists I've never heard before and I've even bought CD's and I'm not just talking C64Audio either.Razmo wrote:Yeah... and I bet that this 5-6 months "latency" is another reason for MP3 piracy... Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Timabaland's record company settled with that Finnish individual, and now both parties are trying to avoid giving GRG any recognition, credit or share.

Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!
Hm, that last part sucks but I suppose Jannes lawyers did what was best for Janne.
Is it official that Jannes part has been settled? I suppose that Facebook group doesn't have much relevance now (or at least only for GRG).
