Another Sid Spotting.. maybe

Hey guys I just listened to Kylie Minogue's new song In My Arms and the background music spells SID all over it. Can anyone confirm of whether SID samples or SID station was used or not?

I also spotted some SID use (probably an original arpeggio set, or at least nothing substantial enough to consider plagiarism) in the track "World Go Round" by Rogue Traders, from their album Here Come the Drums.

Whereas Timbaland's new Madonna / Timbaland song "4 Minutes" prominently uses a lofi horn sample that sounds pretty familiar from amiga times.

In my opinion its neither a SID-Based Synth nore an original Sid Sample.
I dont feel a real Sid-characteristic there, but you never know how the original sequence sounds after the finalizing and mastering process.

Actually there are also a very lot of Synths out there who can produce sounds like this one.
On the VST side for example, just take a peak on the "Feldspar" (just to mention one VST that is not spoken about to be Sid emulation related).
Also the early Ensoniq Synthesizers could be programmed to sound very sidish.
No wonder, because it was Bob Yannes who founded Ensoniq and advanced to improve and build better sound chips then the Sid he had designed for Commodore before.

During the BIT 1 days, I made a lot of Yamaha MU80 and XG50 sounds very SIDdish: a lot of it is to do with the programming of pitch bends and vibrato.
