Yes i really like the first version too, my only complaint would be that i don't find the voices necessary, but that's just my preference. Overall it's a really good tune, now to get the finished version.

Yes, it came out quite good.

The voice samples might put people off but I found them tolerable. Maybe you should consider offering an additional version without repeating voice samples? The almost constant rain noises in the first half are kind of unconnected to the tune imho but no real damage is done. You might also consider shortening the tune as it felt a bit long for me.

Last Changes:
- tweaked the (first) synth to sound much higher & tighter
- speed up the whole track by 4 bpm
- shortened the last melody part
