I have friends who use it and love it. I just havent gotten it yet... a friend tells me it took him a while to "GET IT" but once you do, its nice to use.

A nice 80's style singer/lyrics would go nicely with this track, something "Fluck of Seagulls" or "Gary Newman"

Yes it takes some time to get use to it but when you do the workflow with clips and stuff in Live is just amazing :D
I see Live as an extended tracker, you make the patterns(clips) and put them together in any way you want but in a midi view sequencer :D

I intend to put some vocals between the ones I have now but I haven't found any yet that fits to the song and current vocals :D

Now that is very nice Trace, i think the vocals you have now work excellently and maybe just change the tune a little in the middle rather than add any more vocals.

Very nice laid back ibiza lounge type track here.. what track is the vocals from ?? I've heard them somewhere but can't remember...
Have you got your head around the warp feature on vocal only tracks ??
I am just trying to get this part right so I can mix an accapalla track with my own stuff..

Would be nice with piano in the mix around 4.20 ish... like you say above you are going to add piano so will listen to the updated mix when done

I am also liking Ableton its great...

Thanks :D
The vocals is by Kate Lesing :D
The warp thing is amazing, it takes some tweaking to get the vocals right but I like that I can se how the wavform of the vocals actually looks like in realtime is in the sequencer when I tweak :D

EDIT: It feels wierd but in some level it feels like Reason has slowed me down from all the goodness that is LIVE! :D
I won't give up on reason though, Live is a GREAT supplement to Reason :D

So now I will do some serious goodness :D
Next stop will be a 2009 edit of my first WOTEF with some redicilous screaming 303 and harder drums :!:

Desperate help! :help:
Between about 1:41 to around 2:21 I REALLY need some help...

I need a acoustic guitar chord playing there about the same as the chords and stuff in the track...
It needs to have a nice feeling to it, the chords I want should be in doubble speed as the hihat or as good as you can get it :D
----
It should sound something like this, I found a sound I tweaked but I need to have more life into it, sure I can tweak alittle more to make it sound lifelike ;)
http://trace.ziphoid.com/WIP/guitar.mp3
-----

Anyone up for the task?

I need the guitar in separate file, wav or mp3 doesn't matter :D

I am thinking of trying myself on my sons guitar  8)

New version with guitar type sound is nice.....
Best person to make this song stand out with guitar would be Romeo Knight :)
Email him Trace he may help you get this right

I am loving ableton too trace and whats even more special is seeing as were using the same software .. hint hint nudge nudge :-) hehe.

It definitely is one to get used too, but once your into it and you understand the style and grace its a special little program and one i dont think i could go without, i still revert to buzz now and then (mainly for its 303 and drum patterns that are done in tracker format.. gotta love that) but i'll save out whatever i do to wav and stick it into ableton to mess around with it somemore.

will have a listen to your track now, let ya know what i think of it.
