On monday a reporter from Computerworld phoned me up asking if I'd heard anything about the Danish band Carpark North using a SID on their current hit "More". Since I hadn't I told him I'd run it past the trained ears of the good folk on this forum. =)
You can hear the track here: http://www.carparknorth.dk/ > music > "Grateful (2008)" > "More"
Personally, I think it sounds more like some quick scales on a Gameboy than anything that could have been lifted from a game/demo-tune.
SID used in Carpark North radio hit?

Sounds great with that arp. I don't care much for the chorus though.

Sounds like something from an old battery operated Casio than anything. very tinny sounding. Certainly GameBoy trackers exist.

I agree, it doesn't sound like SID. More like a Gameboy, like you said.
And I also agree with Lagerfeldt, it does sound cool, but the song over all was a bit meh.
