I love Slay Radio - really do - but I've tried a couple of requests that aren't included in the library.
One comes to mind right now, and it's Trip to Pluto 2006 by Squaresaw.

So my question is, why not on Slay Radio? The library there is simply enormous, so I just assumed most, if not all RKO tunes would be available for request at SR.
Surely it's not a matter of owner copyright since I got the tune from an RKO torrent...?
Is it because the original SID is not from a game? Somet'in like dat?

Re: Dumb newb question about SlayRadio content vs. RKO
Most RKO tunes are on SLAY plus there are a few SLAY exclusives ( Like Hot Mommas ). SLAY is run by people though, and they can make mistakes. I'd mail them at the staaf email addresss ( see the site ) and mention it. Chances are that they will add it to the rotational.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'
Re: Dumb newb question about SlayRadio content vs. RKO
That particular tune I think just got overlooked. There are a number of tracks on RKO that are not on the SLAY rotational, however, and the reverse is also true - there are some songs in the rotational that come from before the great RKO cleanup. Back when I was a staff member, we tried to keep up but we never claimed 1:1 parity with RKO.
Email the staff and I'm sure they'll take a look at it.

You in your avatar look spookily like Kenz! Given Stu Scattergood's uncanny resemblance to our Binary Lord and Master, was there some kind of "Kenz-R-Us" open a few years ago?RobinsonMason wrote:Cool, makes sense, thanks!
