BIT4 was *awesome*.

Post by david »

Hi !

I'm what Chris described as a listener on a nostalgic kick. A kick strong enough to book a flight and attend BIT4.

I'm not at all familiar with all the names and people, never been part of the scene, so I'll make a global thank :
Thanks to all the people involved organizing this event, all the musicians and above all Chris Abbott, who has been really really helfull.

My only regret is that I have quite a few friends here in France that are huge fans of C64 and SID music, but they couldn't make it this time.

Some pictures :

I took the concert pictures without flash, so they might be a bit blurry

Er.. yeah, David's right. That button is wrong! It's my fault... this was in fact BIT Live 5 because of Germany, which was no. 4. Some might argue that it was 6 because of 8-bit revolution! Who knows...

If I were to read into it .. this was the 5th event with the BIT Live name - hance BIT Live 5 .. the 8-Bit Revolution (far as i know) wasnt dubbed a BIT Live Event.....

Wouldnt that be like calling Star Trek 6, Star Trek 7 cos of the inbetween mini film ? - thus unnoficially pushing the numberage up by a digit.

My pics are on the DVD. :) (hopefully)
As Chris might add my photos from Bit Birmingham 2001, London 2002, Wedel 2003, Brighton 2003, I want them to be a bit exclusive for the DVD.

However if you are the guy with the Matrix T-shirt, then I have 2 photos of you. Mail me privately.
