Post by Analog-X64 »

I was chatting with Amok and he mentioned something about the Eaglsoft Logo and this is what I came up with.

First Version.

Second Version.

1st one looks good, the ripple in the 2nd one rather looks like poor upscaling, so definitely go for the first one. :)

There's a load of brilliant vectorized C64 loading screens on http://www.dailyrodent.com (backtrack through the older entries to find them). I'm totally loving these! Couple of examples:-

Hi Andreas,

Yes the re-worked graphics on NightGem are great, and the guy has done a fantastic
job re-pixeling them, which keeps them in their original 8-Bit form.

I'm going for more of a modern look, and trying with different techniques, the vectorized look is not
bad either, but I want something different and not sure what it is and how I'm going to get there.

But when I do, you guys will be the first to know about it.

Why not take your favourite game and do it in 3D?

Aren't these just run through CorelTrace? I used that technique to do a vectorized Delta logo on the BIT 1 booklet...
