I hope everyone here is safe, was just watching the news about Flooding in England.

Didn't flood near me thankfully.

We seems to miss out on the floods despite leaving close to a river (Tees).

Most of the problems are up Northwest, Cockermouth (yes it is a real name) has had bad floods.

Indeed all safe down here, Last flood we had was about 10 years ago I think, sounds like its calming down a fair bit now though so hopefully the worst of it is done with and people can get on with rebuilding their lives and homes.

It always strikes me when I see it on the new's, when I was little you rarely heard of flooding and when you did it was usually actually part of "amusing" news with police cars getting stuck and stuff like that .. now its serious and people die and when you see flood water encasing whole houses it really does make you think on and I feel very lucky to be down in the south (which is an usual feeling lol)
