I know he was a speccy programmer, but I guess a good few of us here had them and know his work ....

Its such a shame Joffa was a master programmer of the spectrum, a few outstanding games he wrote I remember well before my C64 days were Hyper Sports and Green Beret, he was a major part of the Ocean phenomenon, a sad loss indeed.

Got the chance to meet him last year, which was slightly surreal. And the real pity is we were trying to organise an interview for Retro Gamer but never got the chance to do it. So I regret his early passing. Rest in peace Joffa.
