This would be amazing IF they put a switch in there that would activate a DTV driven real C64 mode (with enhanced SID filters maybe).

I understand the reaction --- but as an emulation fan I wouldn't mind having a system dedicated to emulation that looks like a C64 with the right keyboard placement. Kinda redundant with my original C64 and a C64TPC laptop sitting on a desk here, I suppose.
So how would you feel about something like the Atari Flashback 2 ? I have one and enjoy it regularly.
I also have a C64DTV joystick to TV thing, but I'm generally more into games that use the keyboard to some degree (or entirely). If I wanted a purely joystick driven experience, I'd be a console gamer.
The DTV is nice for an occasional game of Jumpman, IK or Gateway to Apshai.

Though it looks awesome to have a PC in that case...
