My sincere condolences. No doubt you and your mother were very very close and no words can match that. If it gets too dark these days, take a look at her new grandson, the brightness and a proof of that she left a wonderful footprint on this planet.

I'm very sorry to hear that

My father passed away about 2 years ago and I know the feeling.
I still think of him almost every day.

The nostalgia with games and music becomes even more powerful since he died because when thinking of the time when I actually played the games or listened to the music my entire family was there and everything was all good. No work, short days at school, lots of spare time, summer holidays and no grown-up obligations. Mow the lawn or paint a fence every now and then but that was just small distractions from all the fun you had back then.

I wonder if these memories will fade over time because I almost feel like they are coming back to me more the older I get.
