Who knows this sound? Clip inside

Post by hondo »

Hi!

I'm looking for a song title.
Not sure whether it really is c64 music, but I think so, at least some sounds of it.
I've heard the song 2 times now in the last year, and it does ring a bell but I can't but my finger on it.
All I have is a clip recorded of a tv show, the song is on the background.
Maybe you can check it out and let me know if you recognize it.

Holy f***!
Thanks mate!
And you found it with shazam?
Oh my, I have tried stuff like tunatic and midomi when I was looking for a song that turned out to be "intro" by the Xx (cool song btw) and they didn't find it although I had a pretty good recording.
At that point I sort of gave up on software like that for songs that aren't mainstream.
I don't have a smart phone, and my PC is running Linux, and afaik there isn't a free version for desktop windows either is there?
Can shazam handle the voice, I mean the song is basically just in the background.

Thanks again!

P.S. Just being curious, what kind of samples are that, nintendo?
Or does it only sound similar to some oldschool console sounds?

Regards
Hondo

edit: the original mix is pretty nice too:

I had to grab the last bit after the vocals (they were too loud and drowning out the music)
