Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Looks good, but with that many knobs to fiddle with I prefer running it on a slightly bigger screen.

Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Cool.. I maybe getting a Free iPad soon, would be cool to have.
Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Wonder if it will come to android...Not likely i guess... :/
Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Anyone here tried NanoStudio? It's utterly fab.
I can't see it, until Google sorts out Android's fragmentation and appalling commerce system.trace wrote:Wonder if it will come to android...Not likely i guess... :/

WWWWOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!
Nanostudio looks AND sounds AMAZING!
If I knew about that prog before I got my android I would have consider an iphone, but hopefully (crosses fingers) something as good will come to android too

It's great—like someone smashed GarageBand (or even Logic Express) into an iPhone, but made it even better.trace wrote:Nanostudio looks AND sounds AMAZING!

iOS is becoming quite a big deal with music stuff these days, not least due to iOS 4.2 finally enabling MIDI control through the increasingly stupidly named camera connection kit for the iPad. There's stuff like Korg's iMS-20 and iElectribe for iPad, although I mostly use NanoStudio in 'doubled' mode. (Apparently, Albarn's doing the new Gorillaz album on his iPad.)

Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Sod Albarn - how long until the first C64 remix done entirely on an iOS device arrives?CraigG wrote:(Apparently, Albarn's doing the new Gorillaz album on his iPad.)
Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
If only I had the time. NanoStudio happily works with samples as well as the built-in synths/kits, so it would be possible to get something sounding great.

Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
I know for a fact that at least one of the veteran musicians in here has had NanoStudio on his iPhone for a couple of weeks. Don't want to name any names and put pressure on the guy - but it would be neat if it resulted in a new remix.CraigG wrote:If only I had the time. Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Can I just add that Rebirth is free from Propellerheads website. PC Version still works with the latest Cubase via rewire.

Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
Just noticed that Korg have knocked 50% both iElectribe and iMS-20 for iPad. And on the same day that Garageband is coming out for it as well.
Still waiting for the first remix created entirely on iOS. If Tomsk could do Delta in it's full length on a Playstation One everything is possible.

Unsurprising, really. GarageBand for three quid is going to be the most disruptive software for the system, and rivals are going to have to work really hard to compete.Jan Lund Thomsen wrote:Just noticed that Korg have knocked 50% both iElectribe and iMS-20 for iPad. Re: ReBirth for the iPhone
And now PropellerHead follows suit, knocking $5 off ReBirth for iPad and $3 off the iPhone version.CraigG wrote:Unsurprising, really. GarageBand for three quid is going to be the most disruptive software for the system, and rivals are going to have to work really hard to compete.
