another one bites the dust... :wink: this time the analog dust remix of 'Sigh of The Eye' by me....

It's one of these you can love or hate.... :twisted:

i've found out that 'sigh of the eye' also used in platoon (sub2).... :wink:
but i think his own remix is not so good as his orginal version....

btw. what you called a muted guitar sound, is in real my
old Fender Rhodes Stage Piano MKII together with a
Morley Wah-Wah Pedal.... that's why i call it Analog
Dust remix... :D

i like to mix my dusty hardware gear with some soft
synths and plugins.....

I did, too.

The background instrumentation is very nice, with some good punchy drums and background lead that just adds something wholesome to the piece, and the lead is very Ultravox-esque in parts, but no complaints from me about that as it seems to work really well in the context of the tune and has that really good feel about it - like the original has. What also makes it stand out is that it's been mixed well too - it just sounds right with everything in the right place, nothing not being too overblown, a bit like if I was eating Little Bear's porridge. And the end part is a really nice soft emotional end to the whole thing and it's the icing on the cake.

In other words, I liked it. A lot.
