RKO seeks 'Featured Download' contributing writer

What and why?
One of the longest-running negleted items on the RKO todo list has been the "Featured Download" section. Previously I have asked for contributions (thanks to those of you that mailed stuff in), but unfortunately editing those contributions into capsule-length recomendations turned out to require complete rewrites. Rather than take on this gargantuan task I'm now looking for a talented individual to produce those capsule reviews that randomly appear in the "featured download" box.

As the name implies a featured download is something that comes highly recommended. Even though it is not 100% guaranteed to please the general public, you can be sure a recommended download has tingled the reviewers Spider-sense.

What does the 'job' offer ?
* Everlasting glory as your name appears on RKO (with optional feedback/web link)
* Being part of a community effort.
* The right to wear an "I do the RKO Featured Download section." badge at BITLive events to come. A sure hit with the ladies.
* The chance to force your opinion on whats good down the throats of thousands and thousands of site visitors. (Oo-er!)

What's the catch ?
* Must download all new RKO releases (most people qualify for this =))
* Must have good written-english skills.
* Must have wide musical taste (no fun in taking someone who only likes one genre on board. =))
* Must be able to write short (255 characters maximum), concise, yet entertaining capsules for both new submissions and tunes already available.

How do I get it ?
If you feel up to it, e-mail a few words about yourself (unless you're someone I already know) and a couple of sample writeups (255 characters maximum per recommendation) to kwed@kwed.org.

You need a woman for that task. They are trained to output text at a size of 160 characters

Actually, being serious for a moment, I put myself forward for the job. Regular remix listener, can write concise reviews, have free time.
