Cream of the earth...

Post by trace »

Last night I was up for about 6 hours to convert the Romeo Knight's MOD Cream of the earth to Reason and it
was a pain in the *#¤" to get the studder thingie to sound about right with the sounds in the beginning and so :duh:
But the result went pretty good I think :D

This is about 95% stright of conversion as the mod sounds with all sounds ripped from the mod and is the grounds from where I will build my Remix(hardcopy) version from :D

I have also ripped the drums from Neneh Cherry's Buffalo Stance and will build my own sounds as near as the mod sounds as possible and make a more "clean" version and I have also PM Romeo Knight if he wants to play the guitar leads, I think it will be ROCKI'N good track :D
Cream of the earth (reason modded)

Enjoy!

Very cool... looking forward to the end result.

PS: I actually have Neneh Cherry's album which has Buffalo Stance on it :)

Hey. :) TBH, the new drums don't work - they sound too clean, and the 909 gives it a particular 90s rather than a 1989 Neneh Cherry feel. I'm especially missing the characteristic snare. Keep some of the raw feeling, remember those old samplers had their limitations, which was part of their charme. I love the idea though, this could rock.

I agree that the drums doesn't fit that well but I think it fits better now with some "minor" changes :P
I will make a "clean" version soon with the original buffalo stance drums and all :D

I have changed the preview alittle :P
