narcissism? Disgusting and annoying how the Bassguitar is mixed in the foreground . That`s what happens if you put the production in the wrong hands...

The er.. 'Turrican" album still brings back good memories . heh, This, on the other hand, is weird to say the least? Maybe they are looking at a more electronic/modern feel to that bass.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
geez, that was my very first Metal album. I was 13/14, so it`s nearly 20 Years ago. PPL can say what they want about Manowar (and maybe they`re right...) - but this Record is a perfect one to get addicted to this kind of Music. yeah, "the Turrican Album" .Manfred Trenz must`ve loved this one too.AndyUK wrote:The er.. I actually still had the album too until we moved to Canada. Unfortunately it didn't make the "packing' pile in the sort out. Looking back I should have kept it because as you said, regardless of how manowar always seem to be ridiculed this album is an easy entry. The ELO or Styx of metal?? heh

Re: What are you listening to right now?
A few old gramophone records actually. Bought some more off Ebay to go with the piles I already have:
Roughly 1908, back in the days when records were single-sided.
World War 1. I could attempt a cover of this too.
It's amazing how cheap even the ancient ones are, classic songs and anthems too. Phonograph stuff is often for peanuts as well.
I think everyone else just assumes it's all too expensive, not even bother to look and so the prices stay down, but that can't be right - though rock and roll discs can go for the high amounts you may expect.

Right now? The same track again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
Maybe, I'm mixing something?

One of my remixes I've uploaded to AmigaRemix, before I actually knew how to use DSPs and VSTi's properly in Renoise. Momentarily, I'll be listening to the following below:
