I missed this one too... I use the "View New Posts" button which is supposed to show me all new posts since my last visit and when I tried today, it was saying there were none, but clearly I could see a whole bunch of new ones.

I was thinking today, it all started on that, for us - computing as we know it. Bit of budget multitasking, photography, a dash of video and effects, real audio work, truly flash graphics, WIMP operating systems, a proper upgrade/retrograde ladder....
Even the launch demos showed its pedigree. A real cutdown version of the proper workstations, which Fred Harris even says can be loaded with Fairlight samples.
Perfect. Makes me want to fire it up right now. (Well, p'raps in the morning.)
