Back In Time Lite / Retrovision 6 soundtrack unearthed

Post by Jan Lund Thomsen »

While sorting through some old CDRs I came across a set of discs labelled BITLite 1+2.

Turned out to be the sets by MJ Hibbett and The Validators, PPOT (Unplugged), Mark Knight and Rob Hubbard and SID80s. No idea where I got them or from who, but in case anyone is interested in hearing what live renditions sounded like back in 2005 I have ripped the discs to MP3 format (using the LAME -V0 preset), identified the tracks, added ID3 tags and put it online.

No idea how long it'll be available, so grab it now.

(Also found a VCD labeled "BITLive" which turned out to be footage from the 2001 event, but that's a story for another day.)

Yay!

Also, I know the other VCD you're talking about, that was Boz's nice thing. We should put it on YouTube.

I'm wiring a copy of the VCD your way now, in case Boz lost the source material.

(Also uncovered 7 CDRs labeled 'C64 MP3 CD' 1-7, containing my personal collection and later used to get RKO off the ground. Ah, memories)

Chris actually managed to calm down by 2007, it was something of a revelation...
