Need help acquiring The Last V8 midi file

Hi,

I have a SID to MIDI program which seems to work fine, but my 'The Last V8' SID file will not convert and I get an error prompt. It plays in my SID player just fine. I tried downloading the SID again from a different source and had the same problem.

What I really need is the MIDI file for The Last V8. Can anyone direct me to a SID file that I should be able to convert just fine or of course the MIDI file would do just fine too.

Hmmm, I see what you mean. A few copies of V8 won't load on every player.

But what you do is grab this particular copy here..... http://hvsc.perff.dk/MUSICIANS/P/Paradroid/Last_V8.sid

...then import it into SID2MIDI, which looks to be here if you don't already own it:

(And for bits of original sound, you may want Sidplay. You can mute and pan the channels and I find the 1997 version more flexible: http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/sidplayw.html )
