Re: Back in Time Brighton 2015
There have been many previous Back in Time Live events, but this one is the biggest and most ambitious yet, and the first one to ask for Kickstarter funding.
The Kickstarter for tickets will be launched this Friday (6th February @ 20:00GMT), and the event itself is on Saturday June 20th, 5pm -> 10.30pm (if funded).
Preview KS page is at http://www.bitbrighton.com.
More details:
* Hosted by the mighty Ben Daglish
* PRESS PLAY ON TAPE (who apart from doing classics such as Monty on the Run will be doing "Secret of Monkey Island", and possibly "Outrun")
* Stuck in D'80s, the C64 composer-led supergroup famous for Deflektor, Way of the Exploding Fist and Paperboy
* FastLoaders (Last Ninja Musicology): imagine an hour of live Last Ninja 1, 2 and 3 tracks.
* "Name that SID"
* Pre-show pub meetings in designated pubs
* Aftershow
* More TBC. Maybe Ninjas.
Special confirmed guests include Matt Gray (Driller, Last Ninja 2), Fred Gray (Mutants, FGTH), Simon Nicol (Crazy Comets, Mega Apocalypse) and David Dunn (Finders Keepers, Elite, Flight Path 747).

Hey, everybody, so how was it? It's Sunday already and this messageboard is awfully quiet (except for Kate-Z) - does everybody still have a hangover? Curious minds who were unable to make the jump over the pond (moi) would like to know!

I had a great time! Met lots of cool people!
We (Fastloaders) had the pleasure of opening the show, and we all had a great time on stage!
But the best thing was we got a group picture with Matt Gray and Ben Daglish and that was worth the trip alone

It was amazing.
I met so many amazing people.
I watch some amazing acts.
It was pretty amazing, and yes I'm still recovering.
I've upload some pictures to Facebook and Google Photos.

Flickr was proving to be troublesome last night, so while I got photos uploaded, I couldn't then link them anywhere! So here you go now... https://www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers ... 4527825828
How on earth did I miss meeting you then?! Because I met pretty much everyone in your list and more heh.Kate-Z wrote:Was there. T' was great. Met Matt Gray, Chris Huelsbeck. Also ziphoid, Marcel, c64glen, Annabeep, Boz, Slaygon and many more

Re: Back in Time Brighton 2015
Had I been there I probably wouldn't have recognised most of the regulars, what with everyone transforming into bearded vikings since last time.
Re: Back in Time Brighton 2015
Watching the SID80's concert now. Very impressive musicianship! Great sound. Wallström's drumming is spot on, and TDK has some serious skills. The bass, guitars and synth is great as well. Overall a great show!
Check out my website.

What a great show that was - awesome job on the bootleg footage. Fantastic performances all round, Fastloaders in particular were incredible, great sound and phenomenal live renditions of those legendary tracks... sound quality was sweet!
I know there was to be a LN Musicality triple CD release, but would love a vinyl LP set of this stuff... dreaming I know....
