Remix64: New features for Amiga remixes

Post by LMan »

Hi all,

it is now possible to write tune infos and reviews for Amiga remixes, the same way as for c64 mixes. I have connected most Remix64 accounts to the matching AMIGAremix accounts. If your own account is not connected, contact me.

AMIGAremix mixes tune info pages can be called from the Amiga Charts pages. There you can also view the votes distribution. :D

An Amiga reviews overview will be added in the future.

If you encounter any problems/bugs, please let me know.

- Markus

Wow, one day since. One tune info entered (thanks Rafael). No review written.

Those new features are going down a storm. :?

And imagine, some people think there could be charts based only on reviews *L-O-L*.

Anyway, thanks for the praise, guys! :)

Thoroughly deserved, you star you :)

My review:

LMan's new features start off good, with great accompaniments, and develop into an intelligent Remix64 Remix with great user satisfaction.

Overall: Red Smiley

I added some reviews too - but the review for Hollywood Poker Pro for instance doesn't show up in the list with an "R". Is that a bug Markus?

Yeah, poor idiots.

Just to check it out, yesterday evening i posted a tune on vgmix.

http://www.vgmix.com/song_view.php?song_id=657

This morning i already have 4 full fledged reviews.

So, maybe for someone, voting based on review works.

Maybe R64 community is too lazy.

Bye.

Yeah, maybe we should call the whole R64 community thing off, after all, and move on to VGMix or Overclocked. Who cares anyway.

Well, as much as the poor votes make you want to jump ship, it's comments like this that make me think maybe I won't bother writing any more reviews for R64*.

Maybe VGMix.com simply has more visitors. Maybe the R64 community isn't lazy, and that people are simply too busy to write reviews?

/rant.

* For the record, this isn't the case, but this did piss me off somewhat. Also: be on the look-out for a C64 remix feature, coming soon to a Pixelsurgeon.com near you.

I never "lolled" about an opinion of people who i somewhat i estimate.

Anyway since Markus stated that a reviews voting system doesn't work, i simply demonstrated that it could work.

But, as already happened, this has been interpretated as a personal attack to people or work of people.

At this point, as LMan correctly stated, who cares anyway?

Be happy and have a great christmas.
