@Stu: Since the BASS library can handle quite a bit of DSP effects, like reverb, delay and such, wouldn't it be possible to use that, so that we can have the samples as dry as possible, hence make the loops even more accurate?

That would be really nice so it wount feel so dry :D
Just the right amount of reverb :D

For those who want and uses Reason you can download my mix-e-load rack here for easy changes and stuff :D
Don't mind if you are missing some sounds/refills, you probably want to use your own sounds anyway :P

You can easily see what's what of all in there, and when doing outputs of the loops you simply set the left/right loop markers for each loop and use "Export as Loop"
Oh and don't forget to solo/mute channels before exporting :P

For the lead loops I have used different synth's for each key, C,D# etc. if you want to have different sounds on each :D

When listening "close" is too feels that it doesn't loop in perfect timing, like skitz said.
It's like a random thing, cause sometimes the loops start in perfect timing and sometimes they cuts in just a few ms before but in sync though ;)

Trace: the rns file will surely come in handy :) thanks

Glad to help :D
Now do something GREAT! :D

Btw, is the matter about the trailing FX cleared? Will the loop just quickly fade out, or can there be a trailing part as Skitz suggested? :) And, is it okay to combine accompanying sounds with the bass or lead section?

Feature request: Optional pack-lock for the random mode

That lock thing is a great ideá :D

The loops needs to be without trails for now i think, I had reverb and delay before i removed that cause they cut.

I was thinking myself to do some additional mixture thingie with the let's say bass, so there is the bass but also maybe cords to fill it up alittle in the same loop :D

What about the FX tracks, can I do something for that?

Don't now if those are done yet.

Its my intention to use the in built DX8 effects built into BASS.

What I might do is open the FX upto you guys in the form of a text file that you can stack the types of effect (as I have no real knowlege of what effects you acutally want)

I'll post as soon as I have these done and we can work on it from there.

A quick note on how the sample ends, at the moment at roughly correct time I fade the sample out. If you guys want to fade it out for me then I can remove the fade out, the new track is actually played whilst this is fading out (all be it quickly) - as per SKitz suggestion of overlapping the samples.

I dont stop the sample playing it plays until the end of the sample (the volume is set to zero). If I remove the fade out this means it'll be upto you guys to handle the end of the sample.

Do a test without the fadeout and we'll try it out :)
I don't think that wont be a problem, the problem that will be is if there is a use of toooo much reverb or/and delay it will sound messy when next loop starts...

Heres a no fade version, the next track will start at the correct positin so it'll be down to the sample to fade (if necessary )

Right for those of you that dont know whats at my disposal with the BASS library :-

Chorus (fWetDryMix,fDepth,fFeedback,fFrequency,lWaveform,fDelay,lPhase)
Compressor (fGain,fAttack,fRelease,fThreshold,fRatio,fPredelay)
Distortion (fGain,fEdge,fPostEQCenterFrequency,fPostEQBandwidth,fPreLowpassCutoff)
Echo (fWetDryMix,fFeedback,fLeftDelay,fRightDelaylPanDelay)
Flanger (fWetDryMix,fDepth,fFeedback,fFrequency,lWaveform,fDelay,lPhase)
Gargle (dwRateHz,dwWaveShape)
I3DL2Reverb (lRoom,lRoomHF,flRoomRolloffFactor,flDecayTime,flDecayHFRatio, lReflections,flReflectionsDelay,lReverb,flReverbDelay, flDiffusion,flDensity,flHFReference)
SetParamEQ (fCenter,fBandwidth,fGain)
Reverb (fInGain,fReverbMix,fReverbTime,fHighFreqRTRatio)

Effects can be stacked. Sure they mean something to you lot :)

The more I think about it I think a good idea would be for me to create a little editor for the creation of the FX. These could be saved out and named . These can then be distributed the same as the rest of the packs.

Rather that the effects effecting all of the tracks, part of the editor could a seperate FX for each track if you think thats a good idea.

Allittle reverb is never wrong so everything wont sound so dry if we don't use reverb and stuff when you have removed the fade out , haven't tested it yet :D
