ok so i thought id have a go too, just walking about where i live.
Thats taken from top of a bloody big hill (see the effort i put into this? :p)
This is one of many ponds around the park area we have, that I have found myself flying into at high speed sitting in a shopping trolley just for a laugh.
A swan.. yesterday. I enticed it over to me with a cigarette (yeap typical english birdlife) took my picture and then ran away before it got angry.

speaking of swans:
This image is taking in a park (Madsby Legepark, Frederica, Denmark) so the swan is very use to people.

I added some more swan pictures to one of my galleries. These were taken today during good weather. Nothing special (especially the old Kodak digital camera).

I love how ethereal water looks when its picture is taken, never looks real no matter how much you try to coax it to look natural ^^.
some brilliant pictures here and im glad to hear that none of us have been hurt by the swans.
except for that lad who got fed to them..

Very nice ones, Matrix!
Here's one I snapped of my bedroom window (which I frosted and "carved" out the sign in) a few years back. This picture was taken a few days ago in the morning.

You know that Omoroca, my heart is breaking when I've seen your outstanding photo...
Cos, in the last Winter we don't have any snow. That was the first winter in my life when no any snow in winter!
I don't know if it's because the global warming but what I know, my sons were really sad about it. No snowman in the garden, no sledge on the hills.
I just hope this isn't a permanent anomaly and next Winter we'll have a great sight than this.
