Matt Gray "Reformation" Kickstarter
Re: Matt Gray "Reformation" Kickstarter
I would have taken the 100 GBP variety, if there would have been any possibility. But other guys were faster than me.
So I just took the offer for 35 GBP. The question is, if there's any possibility of changing the chosen back afterwards. The multiorder offer could be interesting as well. Maybe there are some guys I know not having a credit card... I guess Paypal isn't an option here, is it? Or maybe soon?!

Kickstarter doesn't do Paypal, it simply doesn't fit into their framework. You can buy pre-paid Mastercards in some countries, but your multi-order ID sounds good.

Backed at level 3.
Initial confusion as I clicked the £35 tier and Kickstarter told me that it's actually £40. For a second I thought they were going to short change me, until I noticed that the extra fiver was for P&P. That'll teach me not to conduct business with less than 3 coffees in my system.

There is the possibility of adding another 20 VIP slots as a separate perk level, it was being discussed in the comments. It would also take the number of super deluxe boxsets up to a round 300 figure.TNT wrote:I would have taken the 100 GBP variety, if there would have been any possibility. Would be cool. But the bottom line is the music itself, and as long as it's great, which it is, I'm happy. Let's wait and see.
Yes I know, usually it is like that. But when the Turrican Anthology project was launched on kickstarter, there also was the possibility to pay via Paypal. Not from the beginning, but after round about two weeks. So generally it should be possible. Many people don't have a credit card, so this could be a problem. Not for me, but for them. And in some cases maybe also for the project itself. Fortunately not in this case!Chris Abbott wrote:Kickstarter doesn't do Paypal, it simply doesn't fit into their framework. That was outside of Kickstarter, though. Basically, Kickstarter had nothing to do with it.TNT wrote:But when the Turrican Anthology project was launched on kickstarter, there also was the possibility to pay via Paypal.

Can't help wondering whether the success of this one will bring more C64 related kickstarters in times to come. (BIT4/R64 v4, I'm looking at you.)

He's announced a new 75K stretch goal for his Kickstarter: he will remake Arcade Classics, Knucklebusters, Sanxion Loader, Arkanoid, Green Beret Loader and Rambo Loader... all backers will get those tracks.
