I didn't call the score random, for me it just >felt< a little bit like that because I got provided with no voting algorithm nor the number of votes per entry (aka nothing at all).

However, thanks for the explanation, LMan! It makes totally sense for me. The only thing I'm wondering is if the weightings within the algorithm are the same for every category? For example the number of released tracks should have an impact on the Remixer Of The Year ranking but in the Remix Of The Year rankings it seems quite irrelevant.

Indeed, the number of tracks and such do not affect the "Best mix" categories.
