Surely with no afternoon event, there will be no real mingling for those that cannot make the pub activites the night before. Meeting new people and socialising last year was one of the highlights of the day.

Well, there's a designated pub in the area of the venue (TBA) which people coming to the show will be encouraged to go to pre-show. We know the mingling is a large part of the pleasure, which is why this time there's HOURS of it... and after the show as well, we hope (though the club we were going to go to got a bit snotty about it).
We can even designate a BIT Live breakfast coffee shop if you want
Basically there will be loads of people about: it's just about getting them all into the same place! (which is usually accomplished by information, I find).

I look forward to this!
But I have to say about that seating thing, forget it!
Let people sit where they want, and no VIP stuff.
Nobody is VERY important compared to others, it's bollocks!
I'm sure that by talking to eachother, small groups of people can arrange themselves.
The moment you start to treat guests as cattle with a nr. -
they start acting like cattle!
CYA there Chris, Tass, Kwed, Dan G, Marcel....

When I first ran into Skitz (at the rehearsal last year) he introduced himself as "Oh, I'm nobody".
To which I instantly replied "We're all somebodies here, mate."
( Okay, so Rob Hubbard might be a bit important and Neil might have his MBD groupies, but apart from that...
)
