I really liked a lot of 4mat's stuff. The Golden age was an amazing chip tune if I remember rightly - also love the Leander music too.

didnt Nuke (cant remember his actual name) go on to do some fine game musics including Bubba 'n' Stix, and Universe?

If it's the same 4-Mat as the one in Cosine on the C64 he's currently working for Blitz Games in the UK.

Getting back to Phenomena / Enigma, that's one of the tunes shortlisted for my second podcast show (the 'Amiga Spesh'!) I'll be recording the tune from the original Amiga demo (no nasty PC mod emulation recording!) - unless of course Firefox wants his new remix featured in the show of course - hintyhint! :D

I'll talk to Firefox and see what he can do, but I'm afraid he won't be able to finish it within the upcoming week or so... Good work with you poddie btw, Kenz... ;)

Karsten Obarski - Sleepwalk (Remix)

Post by Firefox »

Hey there :D .

The Enigma remix is put on hold for a while. The thing is why remake something already made? But cheer up, the remix will come. I will post a link to the 2:nd beta version of Sleepwalk by Karsten Obarski here tonight :D . Tell me what you think then. Until then  ........

My next show won't be ready for a couple of weeks yet (I spent far too long playing Super Stardust instead of recording the damn music yesterday!) so there's plenty of time to drop in the remix (or a preview thereof) at the last minute.

But I'll still record the original Amiga track cos it's ace! 8)

Hmm, maybe I should do a page featuring REAL Amiga music that people can download - it sounds sooo much better than Winamp attempting to decipher mods - plus I tone down the nasty stereo split a bit AND use my Amiga sound enhancer (which STILL works beautifully after all these years).

Can't you tell I'm having fun here in Amigaland at the moment. :D

While Firefox is sitting in my sofa and warming up my newly purchased Xbox 360 I have the honor to give you a link to his WIP of Karsten Obarski's Sleepwalk. You can find it here.

He says that he'll finish the missing parts as soon as possible, so please DO bug him to do it... ;)
