Yeah for these ones, I would just use Photoshop and make animated gifs

On the Commodore 64 too?

I'd like to see the action there! May be nice to be able to use a row of images from my scanner play as a crude 'flip book' type thing.

Anybody know how to program one? (Or better still source a video capture, though I'll never again find that footage of table tennis rendered through a 64. I know there are C64 porn movies though.)

Mary,mungo.. Tip of the iceburg being exposed now chris. I've had these conversations with my wife ( she's canadian ) many times, and seems her growing up with lassie and the jetsons bears little comparison to our tripped out childhood. You try explaining to a foreigner the plotline for rentaghost, chorlton, mr benn, willothe wisp, clangers, chocky, catweazel and the other hundred crazy mind bending shows we used to watch... I mean come on.. 'wordy' was just plain freaky!!! But it made us the people we are today heh.

Nearly as weird as john cravens jumpers

Is it me, or is "Near and Far" (first video) freaky and unnerving? But then, I was freaked out by Mary, Mungo and Midge, so I guess my freakout-threshold was fairly low when I was young :)

Actually I think Douglas Adams was primarily responsible for the people I am today ;-) But Bod wasn't far behind...

Magic Roundabout anyone?

...And the chocolate makers weren't too far behind:

Mind you, where these programmes had a logic behind them you could still follow them.
