You must have a huge house to fit all this stuff in...!

Well not really. Just as with Homer Simpson, years of Tetris came in handy:

Just goin' eccentric in comfort. But what a sale it'll be when I've finished with most of this.
And the video? 'Man's ultimate video magazine'? That suggests a cultural document, else they would have said Men's.
I totally got away with that.

All is safely bunkered in.
...Though do you think it's overkill having a spare spare LD player? Or even a spare spare spare?

There are still plenty of 925s and 950s floating around, so I can wait 'til next year.
Maybe I can still stretch to a controller:

Now's the time to buy peak '90s analogue, still affordable and working. And I want to make sure I'm still watching when I'm an old man.

...And here it is, my first Ebay auction.

A small one to begin with as I'm still getting the work of it. If anyone has any tips, especially on payment, could I have them? Thanks.

I've got that Trainspotting LD as well. Interesting to see what it will fetch.
That said, I might be interested in what other stuff you're selling.

Well there's one or two others I know I'll be ditching from that pile, plus one or two I'm surprised I wanted to keep. There's an Adam Sandler one with atrocious reviews but I thought was alright.
When I get through them and get the hang of Ebay, I'll let you all know.
Meanwhile, I have an interesting Pioneer problem. Well, curiosity. I've split the output to two televisions, one which accepts PAL and NTSC, the other just PAL. So the PAL telly displays NTSC discs in monochrome. Now, when I press the button to convert NTSC to PAL output, the PAL telly displays in colour - but the multi-format TV suddenly flips to black and white!
Any ideas? Is it possible the multi-format latches to an NTSC signal, which suddenly changes to PAL without the box catching on?

It might be that your multiformat TV is set to the wrong color format input. I remember I could set my SCART to S-VIDEO or something to get colors working with troublesome outputs. Check your AV input settings.

Well it's automatic, so possibly glitching. Not that it really matters as I'm only watching one screen or the other.
And one sweet thing is that Pioneer LD remote is common across the general range. Nice, wider options for spare control hunters.

I did that this morning. You should have received emails about it which would tell you how to ask me for payment.

OK, I got the email and sent the invoice. When I get the Pound, I'll follow where it rolls.
..And give it you back, if competence stretches.
Thank you very much for helping out and see you there!
