Yep, missed that one. :D Currently bowing at the feet of the world's greatest, living comedian....

Besides, even if I had got it first time, you'd have already got there and nicked that gag anyway! You and your cheese & ham brevilles....

variables listed as a constant in the word processed document but it drags its display data from another source to fill the variable markers.
Not exactly, an RSS feed may look like this:

Code: Select all

Branko Balsic - Robocop 2 - tune 1 - RMX

Jan Lund Thomsen<kwed@kwed.org>

Grab Branko Balsic - Robocop 2 - tune 1 - RMX and loads of other stuff at http://Remix.Kwed.Org

Now the parser analyses this and returns, for example, "Branko Balsic - Robocop 2 - tune 1 - RMX" if you request the "title" element. Then you can use php or your favourite coding language to process the data, e.g. to return:

Code: Select all

Branko Balsic - Robocop 2 - tune 1 - RMX

on a web site, which would be the link to the tune at RKO. Easy as that :)

Hey.

Since this RSS feature has actually gotten very little attention, here's a goodie:

http://www.miranda-im.org/download/deta ... ile&id=409

A protocol plug-in for Miranda Instant Messanger, wich can be set to check an RSS feed at intervals, and instantly pops up any news as a message for you to read. Kewlness, sweetness, great sounds of SIDness!!!

Multiple RSS-feeds possible, so just go ahead!

Miranda is kewl. I have ICQ, MSN, IRC (wich DCC send/get now!) and RSS in one and the same proggie.......... And I guess there's more stuff I don't know about. 8)
