Apologies for the lack of updates, but here is the latest news...
We were hit with another delay, so publication is now LATE FEBRUARY. That will be when pre-orders are sent out, and new orders will be dispatched as soon as possible.
To whet your appetites, here's what the sample copy looks like (just arrived at the designer's today):

Yeah, and it will be sent out AT THE END OF THE FEBRUARY, when we actually receive them. This is just the sample copy, which the designer passed onto me...

Apologies for this further delay, but I'm pleased to announce the publisher now has the shipment of books.
Orders will start to be sent out this weekend, with priority to pre-orders.
And if you haven't ordered yet, head over to

I placed a pre-order, but I think I gave you my old address. Merman, could you PM me the address I registered with the order, since it may need updating?

Got mine today as well, and had a quick look through it.
First impressions is that it's a really nice coffee-table book-like dingus, and with its nice chronological order of games not only give a nice overview, but also displays the progress and evolution of C64 games.
- Nice selection of games! "This'll make it easy to read up on things!" was Sara's spontaneous reaction.
- Very well written "summaries" for each games concept and general story. Nice touch with the review-score from several contemporary magazines. Would've been cool with a dedicated Credits-info box (with designer, graphician, musician etc. mentioned), but I can understand that the limited space did not allow for that. And I must say I like the compact format.
- Some graphics/images are obviously up-scaled from too-small-for-print originals, which make them blurry. The cover art could've been a little sharper as well.
Thumbs up so far! A very nice book to get some instant nostalgia on the go!

I just realized I used the word 'nice' six times in my previous post.
Nice.

LOL, that's funny because I used the word "nice" too much, and Andrew Rollings kept editing it out...
