Lovely to meet so many friendly people, put faces to

brilliant tunes. Brilliant.
Bestest night I've had in ages. Hurrah!
Roll on next time eh? See you at Slaygon's do?
Hugs to all, A xx

And very lovely to meet you and Maria too, Anna! :)
Over the last few years I've seen an increase in female attendance at these sort of events, which is a good thing. Not least because in my eyes at it's not just the domain of the so-called "geek" fraternity but for those who enjoy the music and want to have a good time.
Certainly it was a really nice vibe on Friday night, and I can't have been the only one to have noticed.

For me it takes about 3 events to begin recognising people! the IRC/forum chatters and the remixers are the ones I never recognise, I have to stand near people and try and listen in to pick up their name!
I'm going to try to make the sweden gathering if only to meet everyone in a quiet environment!
Hope you make it K, but don't count on it beeing quite

Chris,
Thanks for arranging it. And like i said at the end of the event: you looked happy and so bloody relaxed and chilled just like one who just had a mayor blowj*b
The event was great, seeing you having fun and actually relaxing a bit was even better.
Now do arrange another one, with smoking spots since the Uk goes crazy after 01--07-2007
Big manly HUG

Haha, you made me really thoughtful for a moment.
But more in ways like: "that nick IS his nick, right...?".
Hope you're doing well!

How does the feel of these micromusic events compare with BIT Live?

Well, to be honest, the event yesterday was VERY amateuristic in all aspects. You could notice that 8BW and CH had been playing a bit more since last Friday and FirestARTer had a quite cool set run by 4 Gameboys and a GP2X running a C64 emulator, but the overall arranging of the even was just not good.
The nerd-level was a lot higher (even though the BIT Live events have their share of nerds as well
), but overall it was a friendly atmosphere, although not many visitors.
Seth, Michelle and Melissa was nice and talkative as before and it was worth going there just to get to talk to them again...
