Seems you have some cracking dawn's there chap, very picturesque and quiet.

I dunno about the rest of you but i'm a point and click guy, i don't know that much about the different doohickies and what-nots of camera's .. i just let the camera do all the work.

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. One day i'll learn all about the ISO speeds and exposure times and etc ... but for now, i'm happy to let the camera do the work

This thread has kinda died, but now that I snapped a few photos, I thought I'd share them.

This is sunrise a few weeks back. Photo taken from the top of the roof of my work, with a Canon PowerShot A620.



This one is taken with my mobile phone camera (SonyEricsson s700i) in the afternoon on my way home.

@Romeo Knight: Why thank you I live in a small town, 40km southeast of Bonn. The swamp is about 200 metres from our house. Yeah it's pretty nice here - in that way I'm pretty much a country bumpkin - wouldn't wanna live in the city.

I'm the other way around: I need the "big city"!
I've been in the Vulkaneifel (Kerpen - no not the Kerpen of Schumi) around the holidays - and it looked very similar to your pics. (Well, from your description it seems to be quite near)

Hehe well I'm not *that* kind of a country bumpkin, I just enjoy the serenity and the countryside.
