One of life's true gentlemen - I'm pleased I got to see him a few months back for a curry and catchup with Markie.

I just heard, and my mind is having a hard time dealing with this.
Skitz was a great DJ, a great remixer and a great guy. He was one of my favorite people of the Scene, no doubt. I hope he has found peace.
My condolences go out to all who loved him

I read this on facebook and was saddened by the news, I have very fond memories of long chats on Mirc and facebook over music, the creation of and just in generaml and always arguing with him about him being crap at the whole music lark (always the most modest person and he definitely wasn't crap im sure you'll all agree),
1st met him at brighton where in my slightly drunken state I talked a total load of bollocks to him but brilliantly he talked bollocks to me too so it sort of panned out quite well lol, will definitely miss him.
R.I.P paul see you when I get up there matey, I'll listen out for the cries of "im not gay!" underpinned with a fat unz beat.

I have no words.
I'm not as frequently here as years ago and was quite shocked when reading this.
Rest in peace, Skitz. All condolences to his family and loved ones.

Being away from the remix scene for quite a while now, i visited the RKO page to see what is going on there these days only to see that Mr.Skitz passed away. I almost fell of my chair, this was quite a shock I must say since I didn't know he was that ill... RIP Paul, you'll definately be missed. Still can't believe it. Damn...

When I first met Skitz back in 2003 he modestly introduced himself as "I'm a nobody".
Which turned to be just about as far from the truth as it could possibly be.
Sounds like him alright, such a wonderful and modest person and yet, he was so much more than he would led to tell you. A wonderful man and I'm proud to have known him...

Being one of those more infrequent participators of the scene these days, it saddens me to not find out sooner.......
I'd known about his condition for years, but I really thought (and hoped) he was going to recover from it.
I am proud to have been able to meet Paul in person several times over the years, and to have had all those relaxed and more than seldom funny online discussions about life and unz.
He was a
GREAT and modest man, with a far greater taste for life and fun than one could be fooled to beleive at first glance.
Rest In Peace my friend, and may the Venues Beyond offer you the most massive mixer rigs you could ever have dreamed of.
