Just finished doing something insanely nerdy.

Turned my sound system all the way up, turned out all the lights and listened to the wrath of the lich kings soundtrack from beginning to end.

Fantastic stuff.

I listen at the moment to anything made by Redshift... their dark and enchanting bassrythm patterns and weird sounds really caught on to me... if you know not what it is, just search YouTube for "Redshift" or "Mark Shreeve", and you'll find some live examples

Had a listen to them, they remind me of the orbital or maybe even the earlier psycadelic stuff that the orb were doing before they went all poppy on us with the fluffy clouds.. all good stuff though.

Im listening right now to antiforms unamed album .. bit of a weird one every tune is a barcode apparently the only way to find out what each tune is called is to go into tesco's and find one of their price scanners they have on the wall .. gimmicky .. but the tunes are good.

In fact what I think Redshift sound like, is a kind of dark version of Tangerine Dream, or to be more precise; Klaus Schultse... I especially like the deep pulsating bass patterns they fire off on their Modular Moog ... really nice to relax to, and shift into another (dark) world

Indeed it is and yeah listening back it does have a very tangerine feel to it.
