LOL! I see LaLa was on top form in his review...

LaLa has never really liked the mix of SID and real sounds; you can see that in the other reviews. It's just, in my experience, that this viewpoint is not particularly representative of the listening public. I think he's got more picky over the years though
Mind you, I'm not so keen on this remix either because of the mismatch in emotional mood between the original and the SID on top of it.

Mahoney's music is beyond you miserable mortals' understanding.

Agreed, the packaging design is excellent and the sleeve notes are lovely to read... BRILLIANT!
(Chris, I will get round to doing that review for R64, hopefully this week)

In the trivia:
"The Rubik's Cube belongs to LMan's brother, and is a relic of the 80s"
Does that make LMan's brother a relic of the 80s too?

My brother and me are both made in the 70s, but children of the 80s.

Got the CD today, but I am afraid this is THE release which completely missed my taste - I was forced to skip most of the tracks simply because I can't stand their interpretation
. I knew from the samples that I would need to avoid some tracks, but expected to find at least some I like. Oh well, I would have bought it anyway just to keep the collection complete...
