....And is it even possible?
And if putting words to a remix, will it wreck the 'purity' of the original music or enhance it? You could find yourself sticking extra bits in or making medleys. Or have the beginnings of a new song due to inspiration.
Good idea? If anything, it's different to yet another remix of Thing On A Spring or The Last V8.

There's quite a few of these already: check out Makke's album (quite a few great vocals on that), C64 Mafia, Tom Detert on Remix64 Syntax Error (F1 Aspar GP, done in the style of Kajagoogoo), and those heroes of vocals, PRESS PLAY ON TAPE and Visa Roster.

I think Dr.Future did some vocal remixes...I remember Carl Lewis Challenge, To Be On Top, Gianna Sisters and maybe some more...

Right, I'll have a listen then. And thank you very kindly for bringing them up.
And how could I have forgotten PRESS PLAY ON TAPE, doing what I did in the studio much earlier....
Playing music using controllers! They stole my idea, only they did it first!
I must admit I forgot those were around. But I was kind-of thinking more about transcending the original music, with lyrics not about gaming at all and having a patchwork of different tunes or bits to make/inspire a symphony with lyrics.
Any of that out there?

Tonka's "Belong", and a couple of tunes I did but never finished spring to mind (they were based around "Game Over Issue 89" and "Storm" respectively, but didn't use multiple tunes).
Then there's this:
which has:
a) Lyrics which aren't about Ninjas or gaming
b) Knucklebusters
c) Last Ninja

Well that answers my question. That's very much everyone.
Maybe all we need now is a full-fledged Commodore 64 rock opera and the Scene's done for all eternity.
