Commodore Remix

Hey all,

following Commie's lead, I'll post a selection of my "abandoned" folder. Most of those are pre 2005.

California Games - quasi finished but doesn't pass my own quality standard level. Needs some spice and of course the mixing is terrible. Commando - Proof of concept for a very faithful version. Needs real guitars and lots of work. Fighting Warrior - Arabian / orchestral version, about 75% finished. Nexus - The file is in that state for 12 years but still sounds fresh. In my heart I never quite abandoned this one. Parallax ingame - Analogue synths ambient approach. Stirke Force - ...in the style and as a tribute to "Chase the sun" Thrust - 80s faithful version. Also needs real guitars and a lot of work. Uridium - Was the jingle for the Remix64 radio show in 2002 I think. Wizard of Wor - House tune feat. sounds from the game. So if anyone with propellerhead Reason 7 or 8 wants to coop, let me know!

Less posting and more finishing California Games, Nexus and Uridium, if it's not asking too much.

Uridium doesn't need to be extended beyond its current length, though. Just give it a bit of polish.

I think these tracks generally stand up as heard. For a start, you could leave Strike Force and Commando as they are - they're about as 80s as things get, in their own ways. Maybe a sweeter remix session and that's that to evoke some beautiful memories.


I can't speak for the techno-type ones - not my style - but others certainly seem to need less renovation than you think. And less can mean more anyway, if you're worried about half-done arrangements.
