Another nice pick off the Retro Shelf.
I found I got surprisingly into this, not being a programming musician and all.
Advanced Music System's notator mode is, for me, too fiddly to flow with. But that's my fault. Though the regular version's lock-to-metronome, 3-channel monophonic sequencer, however....
Very game-ish. Now what about something in stereo?
That was two different versions of the same thing, edited together. Here's the raw Commie sound:
I finished up with one more.
Nice bit of pro-style polish.
It's a very simple little module, with a WIMP environment of intuitive and simple design. It wouldn't feel alien to the modern user, barring there's no mouse.
I had something nice dashed off within minutes. Wish I'd investigated it all that time ago. Though if I have one regret it's that I wish I'd used the disk version, so my saves would be interchangeable with the Advanced's MIDI module. But I didn't know some of them would actually be pretty good!
