hi out there...

what do you think of spending more time to yet

covered before, 3 of 4 of my cover tunes are covered
for the first time... :P

in the queue, Giana Sisters Hiscore and Demonic Part 1...

If someone is to remix the hiscore sid for Gianna Sisters then he oughta be REALLY good, cause I cant figure out how a remix on that tune could possibly sound better than the original

in my opinion, remixing can do a lot to a song, both good things
and bad things... :P

...whenever i cover a song, i always try to keep the orginal feeling, that
means for me to keep the mood and bring out a different point of view...
'cause i hate covertunes without the spirit of the orginal !!!

btw. i also hate one2one cover, it's better if every arranger add his
own musicstyle to his cover to create a unique remix...

to clear the question if a remix is good or not... just let the ppl.
choose, they make the difference.....

I think a remix "suite", where you move from one tune to the other would really suit Giana Sisters - so, go from the funky title tune to the ingame and finally the high score tune (which I really like - a nice trance mix for me)
8)

nice idea, but my giana hiscore version is just finshed... :P

btw. a tune like 'Giana Hiscore' lives from his simplicity, and i don't want to rapture it.
in the orginal the bass and the melodyline dominates, and so i do it in my remix...exactly
... okay, i add some drums, fx, voice doubling ect. ect. BUT the most important thing is
i think the remix catch the spirit of the orginal tune...

back to your idea, there are already some remixes out which contains all tunes in one, see max headroom for example...
