Ode to Joysticks - Volume 1

Post by Waz »

The first part of a three part series by the Barbican Centre with Ben Eshmade on computer game music, featuring Rob Hubbard, Kenny McAlpine and James Newman - and so plenty of C64 stuff in there..

Excellent piece by Kenny disassembling the composition of Rob Hubbard's "Commando" especially...

Great find, Waz. Will deffo give it a spin later.

Also, if you search for "Barbican Contemporary Music" in your favorite podcast app you can subscribe and get vol. 2+3 automagically whenever they come out.
