Commodore Remix

Hey,

I’m nearly done making something new.

This is the intro, it’s a remix of my remix, question is, what tune am I re-remxing?

Backstory - I must have tried 4 or 5 times to come up with an intro to this, in the end I spliced up my remix and attempted a daft punk which took on a life of its own.

A friend said I should have released the remix of my remix before my remix, but I’ve got a short attention span and fleshing this intro out filled me with dread, so I left it at the start.

Well, call me stupid, but I am not recognizing it. Sure sounds cool, though!

clue- its a very well known tune by one of the greats. Been remixed a LOT.

It's building to something familiar, but I can't place it. It sounds cracking, though.

I'm not going to venture a guess. But that's mostly because I got a notification that you have submitted something to the RKO queue earlier today.

That said, if you'd let it run for 2 seconds more everyone would have recognized it.

People better take guesses now before it gets published on RKO! Although, I guess, kwed, you can just hold it back as long as you wish to stretch this game a little longer. (Which was a great idea, Tim!)

It occurred to be because it sounds absolutely nothing like the remix or the original..

Apparently I’m No. 1 in the upload queue so I’m not holding anyone up if Jan fancies delaying it a few days..

Took me over a minute until I could recognize it.
And as I was aware of the titel, I tried to so hard...
Fresh take. I'm surprised and yet not that surprised regarding who did this.

Found it on RKO. After hearing it, the clues started at about the 40 second mark.
If it had ran 1:02 ... yup give away.

Thanks Steve, it took a lot of experimentation and effort to find a vibe I was happy with.
