Commodore Remix

Due to lack of office space, I've got to sell some of my beloved synths (and then move to a SoftSynth kind of life)...

I'm selling:

JV2080 with Orchestra 1/Orchestra 2/Asia/Vintage Synths/SFX/Voice (Choir) and another board Marcel gave me (that's a LOT of sounds).

Supernova original rack synth with bank of C64 sounds: 44 voice polyphony (it had the expansion).

Roland JP-8080 - another virtual analog synth. Lots of knob twiddling to be had...

EMU Virtuoso - 64 polyphony, 32 channel sound module devoted to orchestral sounds, but also EMU 2000-add on compatible.

All synths well-used but unbattered!

Any serious offers considered. I'd put them on Ebay but frankly I'd rather sell to people I trust and see the equipment go to a good home!

WOW - Thats some seriously impressive gear, specialy the Supernova..... I wont have any room myself for about 2 months - then its time to fill more space up - if you have anything left ill be more than interested in anything rackmount.

Down to timing really, cant do anything right now....

List price was originally £1200, so I thought I'd ask £400.00. People do know the JP8080 has a vocoder, right?

Oh yeah, the equipment does have manuals.

That's about 600 euros, that's really a bargain for this machine.
I'd buy it, but, as i said, i'm out of money atm

BTW: more than the vocoder, the JP8000 and JP8080 are known for their supersaw patches (very popular in trance)

Fabulous piece of equipment.

I fancy the EMU Virtuoso myself as i love good strings and orchestral sounds... but as a discontinued model id wonder how much its worth now - how much u after for that 1 chris ? I could easily channel this into a dedicated MultiFX box ... got an old Zoom2001 floating around here somewhere from my old lekky guitar days. I know theres fx on board the EMU but i rather prefer dedicated DSP units to internal single processor capability.

Throw sumthin like that combo on the back of the Yammy Keyboard and it should sounds Sweet as ninepence

BTW: The JV2080 has now been sold to Feekzoid, with the JP-8080 probably going to Sonic Wanderer

The Virtuoso? Well, I was in two minds about selling it, but I'd probably want about £400.00. It can function as an Emu Proteus 2000 with appropriate plugin boards, but it's pretty good as a quick and dirty source of orchestral patches for scoring if you don't want to hammer Gigasampler too hard Anyway, has it been discontinued? I'm not aware of a direct replacement.

Then there's the Supernova...

I dont think they made a replacement yet chris.... its still top of the line gear even if they stopped makin' it. And theres the Super lol.... oh man.. *drool*

Well, just the Supernova and the Virtuoso to go. Oh, and a Yamaha A4000 I forgot to mention, with Digital i/o, scsi and internal IDE (though the Seagate 8Gb drive inside may be screwed).

How much for the SN?

Dunno. £400? It is the expanded 44 note version, though it's not an SNII.
Maybe less, since unlike the JP8080, it's been superceded since by better models. It has got a nice bank of SID sounds though.
