Who did the audio tape that came with Wizard Warz?

Hi there,
Somewhat more than an year ago, I've tried to find out what band/combo played/produced the audio tape that came with the Capcom/GO! release of Wizard Warz.
As far as I remember correctly (I gave the original to a cousin of mine some five years ago), it was a black unlabeled tape with this one song taped on both sides.
Here's the beginning of the lyrics, as far as I could make them out. So, maybe someone can help me out...?
------
You only had to say this, where's your mind been keeping you?
Is it worth the waitin', (or) have you found somebody who(?) ...
Love you even if you fool around with everyone.
Love you even if you play these games and have your fun.
All I do is wait for you to phone
I wish that I could break into your heart of stone
Come home, oh come home, oh-oh come home, come home. Yeah!
I can see no reason for us to be apart for long
(I'd) Be the first to say: I know my love for you is strong
I love you even if you fool around with everyone.
I love you even if you played your games and had your fun.
All I do is wait for you to phone
I wish that I could break into your heart of stone
Come home, oh come home, oh-oh come home, come home. Yeah!
[ bridge part ]
I love you even if you fool around with everyone.
I love you even if you play these games and had your fun.
All I do is wait for you to phone
I wish that I could break into your heart of stone
Things I do and say are always true
The only one I really need is you
Come home.... (fade/lead out)
------
The song is clearly 80ies style pop/rock music with a shuffled rhythm pattern, played in G major. What I really want to know is whether whoever did this song maybe produced a whole album?
Thanks in advance for hints where to look for more information, everyone.
