It looks pretty good. Decapitations and loads of blood, who could ask for much more. :D

Yea, I played this a while back and its OK, and ONLY OK, just something missing that made the c64 a classic

Its missing a certian something that made the original barbarian what it was... and the snakes... barbarain just aint barbarian without them border snakes... and i have to say the control method is a bit arse too but its still pretty faithfull if a little easy to complete once you've worked it out.

but as it stands i dont think its that bad a conversion... they should have really worked a little harder on the control system though... and hey maybe even added a few new bits n peices... no point updating or remaking if you aint going to put your own sauce in there.

ik + stylee 3 man battles... now that woulda been fun.

Models of the barbarian (Morbo/Brawn) and this pesky little goblin are taken from Quake 2 custom models.
The game is a nice try at the original but that's it. Controls are a real pain.
